Bad food, I got so sick dining there two days ago. Taking home the left-over (not knowing the dinner made me sick already) I didn't noticed at first that certain vegetables were already rotten and some weird piece within the food until the next day (left-over). I then got a call from my friend who as well notified me that she got so sick eating something totally different than I did. To make it brief: I almost guarantee the ingredients (vegetables and chicken in our case) is outdated. This place is always "almost empty" which might be reason the food is not fresh! I will not go back even though I gave it another try after having a bad experience in the past. I just love Thai but not that kind!

We ate at Indo Thai last night. Our meal was very good. Everything was very fresh and tasty. Our server was nice and made menu suggestions that were helpful. The kitchen made an error in a sushi plate for another guest. Our server offered it to us. Free sushi!! My daughter had never tried sushi so she was very pleased. It was a nice night out.

Have given Indo a couple of tries- both were disappointing. Food is ok, nothing special, and small portions.

In comparison to other Asian restaurants in the area, I would give Indo 5 stars because it is the ONLY Asian restaurant in the area. In fact, many people that I talk to in Pawleys & Murrells Inlet will name this as their favorite restaurant so I felt the need to let it be known that Indo is not a 2.5 star restaurant (especially since I have a strict 3 star minimum). Best dishes are Tom Ka Kai, any hibachi plate and Red Curry. Sushi is a good option but don't expect it to blow you away. I usually get take out. It's always fast and correct (which isn't something I can say for most to-go spots). The times I have dined in, the drinks have been great and the servers pleasant. Definitely give Indo a shot!

5 adults, 1 16yo dined here on a Saturday night around 6 pm. We were seated immediately and got drinks quickly. The decor is bright an interesting, our waiter was friendly and attentive and when we were leaving another server ran outside to give us a phone we left on our table. Our app was the mixed platter and everything was up to my high appetizer standards. The sushi boat for 2 was great. The fish was fresh and the seaweed salad was delicious. Other meals at our table: Chicken yellow curry(spice level 2.5 out of 5)- "the best he's ever had" though it wasn't quite a 2.5 heat. Duck in red curry- waiter guided him to this choice(between that and fried soft shell crab) because it's his favorite thing on menu. It was boneless(read, less messy to eat) and he had to bring the little bit left just to savor the last of the sauce on rice tomorrow. Veggie (I don't remember which one) dish- the lone vegetarian of the group had a few hearty choices of meatless entrees. That's impressive. Salmon roll- sushi is a new love of the once pickier 16yo It is a little pricier than I'd normally go for but we are on vacation and good food is built into the budget.

I would have loved to give this restaurant a better rating, but the staff was horrible. The bartender greeted us as we walked in and he was pleasant, but the waiter was terrible. Snappy, rude and acted as though we were inconveniencing him. Didn't fill drinks, didn't brink water and when asked about specific options, was just plain rude. There was only one other table full when we got there, so he was not overly busy. Also, his personal hygiene was off putting. As for the food, it was good, but not fabulous. I would give it three stars for the food, but as I said, the waitstaff ruined it for us.

The service here is terrible. We walked in and were greeted and seated by the bartender and then had to wait for the waitress for a good while. When she finally came to the table we told her that we needed to order everything now and not just the drinks. We all ordered chicken Pad thai with 2 being mild and one being spicy. We were served 2 spicy and one mild. The spring rolls that were supposed to come with the meal never arrived. I complained to the waitress and she brought us a spring roll appetizer which she ended up charging us for. She looked as if she did not want to be working and had better things to do. The service should get 0/5 stars, but I will have to settle with 1 star overall since the drinks weren't bad.

I thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. While staying at the True Blue Resort across the street, my family got takeout from Indo Thai. The curry puffs and steamed dumplings are delicious! The pad thai is great as well. I love that they know how to make things spicy. When I made my order, through the phone, the employee asked me how how I wanted my food--from a rating of one to five. I was excited. I picked three, and the pad thai was HOT! I love spicy food though, so I was very content with it. Prices are on the expensive side, but well worth it. Though I never sat in to eat, the restaurant at Pawley's Island was very nice. The mood was quite intimate and very classy. Next time I visit, I'll be sure to try the sushi. All in all, a very satisfying experience.

Worst Thai meal i ever had!!! Tuna roll was fishy and smelled terrible. Thai chicken and rice was just cooked rice with hints of white meat chicken with no taste

There is very little ethnic food options in the area and this is the best in the area. The curry's and hibachi's are great! Curry puffs great! The food is great! The service is sub par. Always under staffed, it can take a while to get your food. The cleanliness of the place is also disappointing. If this turns u off they do take out. You won't be disappointed with the food.

Solid place for some good Sushi and Thai Cuisine. Especially in Pawleys Island where there is not much ethnic food at all. Staff always does a pretty good job taking care of your needs. Pad kee Mow and Smoked Salmon Sushi are my favorites

I love Thai food so I was really happy about this place being around the corner from our new house. I'm not sure what the hours are because the door has different hours than they have posted online and I think the "open" sign is always in the window. We gave them several tries and it seems like each time we eat there it gets worse... It's a huge bummer because I was really hoping they were on top of their game.

This restaurant had poor service and poor quality food. We ate below average pad thai, the staple and most thai basic option available, and it was poorly executed. Granted, I'm a Thai snob. Go try it yourself, however I will not return.

Food ok, but the service here borders on dreadful. You are guaranteed a 1 1/2 meal regardless of time of day or crowd. Case in point-my last lunch we waited for 45 minutes with scant water refills for sushi. Then the sushi chef rolls in to the parking lot to prepare the food. HE WASN'T EVEN AT THE RESTAURANT AT LUNCH TIME. This is not unusual. I wish I could recommend a better Asian option in PI, but it doesn't exist

I am so upset. I just got this for take out and they literally dumped on hot spices. My throat hurts and my my mouth hurts. I couldn't eat more than two bites. This is my 3rd time here. It's not good Thai but there's no selection in Pawleys. I'm mad. We won't be back. My husband tried it and was shocked how bad it was. I have eaten at so many different Thai places all over the country and have never tasted anything like this.

Was an ok meal. Gyosa and w eel sashimi plus the dynamite roll and shrimp tempura roll.... tonight the sushi rolls seemed soggy. Brown rice versus the white rice on sushi was not a good move. We ended the evening with the Pad Thai w/ shrimp... that was OK and was enough to walk away with a doggy bag for tomorrow's lunch. SaleebScore: Waitress tried 8/10, Food 7/10 [2nd time we were not really satisfied], Overall 7/10. 3 of 5 stars Value 4 of 5 stars Atmosphere 3 of 5 stars Service 3 of 5 stars Food
